Why are men so hard to buy for? No matter the occasion you can’t seem to get them to give you hints on what they need or want. When I ask my husband, the answer is always nothing. Everyone want’s something, right? I have a plan this year and it doesn’t involve dress socks and a tie. Here are some fun gift ideas for hard to buy for guys, starting at just $10!
2016 Men’s Gift Guide
This watch is at the top of my list for favorite gifts that I’ve given. It is handmade from beautiful Argentinian and East African woods. The movement is self-winding so it requires no battery (which is perfect because my husband has a pile of watches that need new batteries). The packaging is just beautiful and you can add a handwritten message to the box which they will engrave for you.
My biggest concern with gifting this to my husband was versatility. I knew it would look great with his more causal weekend wear but I wasn’t sure if he could wear it with a suit to work. Let me tell you, it looks just as good with a suit as it does with jeans and he hasn’t taken it off.
If the guy you are buying for likes a lot of detail about the products he uses (my husband looks at reviews and ratings in detail for EVERYTHING), he will love the JORD site. There is a ton of detailed information about these watches on the site. The folks who make the watches are artists that are really passionate about the materials and crafting process they use. I was able to show my husband the inside of the watch, what type of movement it had and detailed information about the woods used and even the origin of the trees.
I liked this product so much that I decided to run a giveaway for the holidays. Follow the link and enter to win a free watch. The contest ends on 12/18 so hurry over there! Everyone who enters will receive a $25 gift card. Good luck!
Big Green Egg
If you have some extra money to spend this holiday season try one of these amazing Big Green Egg grills. You can grill, smoke, bake and roast all with the same piece of equipment and the flavor is amazing.
Bose Wireless Ear Buds
Everyone should really have a pair of these headphones. We all know the feeling when you are at the gym and you get tangled in your ear bud wires and your phone goes flying. You make a scence and sometimes it even cracks your phone screen. This will help him avoid doing that ever again, the cord goes around the back of your neck and they connect through bluetooth to your device. The Bose version are the top rated but there are many other options that are also highly rated and are a little less expensive.
Rap Coloring and Activity Book
For the rap enthusiast, this is a fun gift that they won’t be expecting but will like. Yes, grown men will color in this book and enjoy it. Who doesn’t love rap and coloring? I found my copy on Amazon.
Beer Brewing Kit
If you have a craft beer lover in your family then he needs a brewing kit for the holidays. There are lots of great options out there. I found this one at William Sonoma and like everything they sell, it was very high quality and I was happy with it. It’s a really fun and interactive gift that will give him something fun to do during his down time over the holidays.
Golf Club BBQ Set
For the guy who love grilling and golf, the perfect gift! These grilling tools are from uncommon goods, if you haven’t been on their website you should check it out. They have a lot of unique and novelty items that you won’t find anywhere else.
Where’d You Get Those? New York City’s Sneaker Culture
If you are buying for a sneaker lover and you don’t necessarily want to encourage the habit by buying another unneeded pair of sneaks, this is the perfect meet in the middle. This books is really fun, has great pictures and interesting info. Your coffee table could use a little testosterone anyway, couldn’t it?
You can never go wrong with golf balls. I’ve had them personalized with photos and funny messages and they were a huge hit. Make sure you double check the type of ball he likes, apparently that makes a big difference.
